Kristen Drake

I am the managing member of Education On Point, a company that provides continuing education to attorneys and CFP® professionals. I am a licensed attorney in both Florida and California. My legal career started with a solo practice in Northern California (Sonoma/Mendocino coast) where I was the only fulltime practicing attorney in this remote coastal community. My practice was dedicated to estate planning and probate.

In 2004 I sold my practice and relocated with my husband to northeast Florida. After moving to Florida, I worked as an associate in a prominent estate planning firm until early 2007 when I decided to pursue new career opportunities and formed Coast Law, LLC (now known as Education On Point). Prior to attending law school I worked as a financial planner. I practice law part-time with Ivan, Cole & Bonnette, at their Amelia Island office.

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, received my BA from the University of California at Irvine in 1989 and my JD from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1999.
